What's actually in your filler emergency kit, and your first moves in suspected VO?
Setting up my complication kit properly. What should be in it, and what are the first steps if I suspect a vascular occlusion?

Kit we teach you to have in the room before you ever inject filler: • Hyaluronidase — several 1,500-unit ampoules (and know your reconstitution). • Adrenaline 1:1000 (1 ml ampoules) for anaphylaxis, plus an antihistamine. • Aspirin 75 mg, glucose tablets, normal saline for injection and saline eyewash. • Luer-lock syringes (2 ml and 10 ml), 23G and 30G needles, adult resus face mask. • Your written Hyalase/VO protocol and a pen and pad. Suspected vascular occlusion — act on suspicion, don't wait for certainty. Stop, stay calm, explain to the patient and consent to treat, then follow current ACE guidance: flood the affected territory and pathway with hyaluronidase and repeat as needed, encourage perfusion, and reassess frequently. Warn them it can take hours, follow up closely, and escalate early — especially any visual symptoms, which are a same-minute emergency. Keep your kit in date and your protocol on the wall.
