Training badges
Describe a practitioner's training history only.
What it means: A practitioner here has completed an eligible Derma Institute training course. This relates to training history only.
What it does not mean: It does not mean Derma Institute guarantees the practitioner's work or treatment outcomes.
What it means: The practitioner's stated Derma Institute training record has been matched against available training records by the platform.
What it does not mean: It is not a guarantee of treatment outcome or ongoing clinical competence.
Verification badges
Confirm specific checks completed by the platform.
What it means: The practitioner's professional registration has been checked against the appropriate regulator (e.g. GMC/GDC/NMC/GPhC).
What it does not mean: It does not assess clinical performance, insurance, or suitability for any specific treatment.
What it means: Selected qualifications submitted by the practitioner have been reviewed by the platform.
What it does not mean: It does not review all qualifications or guarantee treatment outcomes.
What it means: The clinic's submitted business and profile information has been reviewed by the platform.
What it does not mean: It does not imply a clinical inspection, accreditation, or endorsement.
What it means: Multiple relevant checks have been completed for this profile, such as identity, professional registration and qualifications.
What it does not mean: It does not guarantee treatment suitability or clinical outcomes.
Commercial labels
Paid listing tiers — never a clinical or verification check.
What it means: This is a commercial listing tier chosen by the clinic.
What it does not mean: It is not a clinical or verification check of any kind.
