New to injecting here. There are a few toxin brands available — which do you recommend starting on, and are the units the same between them?

The commonly used brands are Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Nuceiva. The universal safety point: units are NOT interchangeable between products — Botox, Xeomin and Nuceiva are dosed in their own units, and Dysport is dosed differently. Never "convert" a number from one to another; dose each product to its Health Canada-approved labeling and the technique you were taught. Pick one brand, master its dilution and dosing, then add others later.
Agreed — one brand for the first several months. Mixing up unit systems early is the classic beginner error.
