Want a clean way to tell eyelid droop from brow heaviness after toxin, and what actually helps.

  • Brow ptosis is a positioning problem — the frontalis was over-weakened, so the brow sits low; it settles as the toxin wears off and prevention is conservative forehead dosing. Eyelid ptosis is true lid droop from diffusion to the levator, usually within days to two weeks; apraclonidine 0.5% drops can give ~1–2mm of temporary lift via Müller's muscle while it recovers. Reassure it's temporary, and prevent lid ptosis with accurate glabellar placement and correct depth/volume.
